Headmaster Raja Sekhar explains the preparation of Moringa laddhus in a parents' meeting in February 2015

Since 2015 Moringa laddhus (sweets) are distributed to the students regularly. Teachers and students prepare these sweets in a holy ceremony (ingredients: dried Moringa leave powder, groundnut and green gram powder, jaggery, pea powder, ghee, cardamom, aniseeds and vanilla). Twice weekly the laddhus are given to students and teachers; in the next academic year we want to distribute more frequently...

Our new Moringa Oleifera (tree of life) Garden - started in February 2014 - was arranged on the school area beside the guest house - now in December 2015 we have more than 1000 trees. We want to experience how to cultivate organic Moringa (drumstick). This Ayurveda tree has a big benefit for the health as many scientists have proven.

The number of our new classrooms is growing... Two classes shifted already into their new houses, two others will follow very soon. It is a joy to observe the arrangement of the houses in a spiral becoming reality. It has been our vision for more than four years...

The administration building is nearly completed, the entrance area is constructed and designed. The arrangement of grills is still pending...

 

On August 3rd, Friendship Day in India („Raksha Bandan“) a big article about the Shanti Ananda Nature School Project was published in “Eenadu” – in the whole Anantapur District. Reporter and educated teacher Calendar who wrote a very positive article already in November 2009 gave many valuable pieces of information about aims and goals, teacher training, building measures and future plans. We understand this article as an appreciation for our pedagogical work; and we are happy that all Anantapur District knows about our model school now...
